Interview With Coach Gatlin
Coach Gatlin, you've now been in the personal training industry for 16 years and have helped over 500 individuals reach their personal health and wellness goals, what makes your programs so successful?
I have a driving passion for what I do. In order for my clients to follow me to the healthier path of life, I must lead by example and accept people at their starting point.
What do you mean by TRI FUSION training?
TRI FUSION training offers the tools necessary for each individual to reach a balanced lifestyle. It's known that thoughts produce feelings, feelings produce actions, and actions produce outcome. If you are not aware of how things are processed mentally emotionally and physically then it brings confusion to your entire being. TRI FUSION will end the confusion and bring "well" back into your "being".
How do you implement your TRI FUSION training?
By assessing the current status of the individual in their mind, heart and body, establishing the baseline, addressing any limitations, then progressing the individual in a comfortable but timely pace.
Coach Gatlin, I hear TRI FUSION training is quite the experience how do you make your clients feel so unique and special?
That's easy! It's all about them. Each client's goals and needs are as unique as the individuals themselves. In order to help them become happier and healthier, I give them personalized attention and design a customized program that fits their needs and goals.
Coach, is there anything else that you would like to tell our readers about your TRI FUSION approach to personal training?
It's a lot easier than most could ever imagine. Not only do I help teach them how and what to do in an encouraging and professional environment, but I also help them identify and overcome the challenges that have limited their success in the past.
What sets your standard of customer service apart from other trainers?
My attention to detail, my desire for excellence, my outstanding listening skills, and the ability to implement appropriate teaching strategies for the individual's learning style.
You put so much emphasis on correct posture and form, can you tell us why good posture is so important?
Look at it this way, the human body is a vehicle that gets us from point A to point B, much like an automobile. Even with tires out of alignment your vehicle will get you from point A to point B, but sooner rather than later you will have to replace your tires, (ie. shoulders, hips, lower back, etc.). When you have proper posture and form you will minimize your efforts, while maximizing your results.
Do you offer a complimentary consultation?
Actually I offer two meetings. The first meeting is identifying the client's wants, needs and potential limitations, and the second meeting is implementing the first steps in phase one of their foundation building program. Remember, a remedy is only as good as the proper diagnosis.
Coach Gatlin, what would you say to a person that states they are fat and happy?
You must face your current state, learn how to overcome limitations, be aware and embrace change, and heal your mind, heart, and body.
The health you have is the health you allow, and what you don't take care of today, others will have to deal with tomorrow.
